Youth Programs

Tobacco prevention and cessation among Kentucky's youth is one of the state's greatest challenges compounded by the growing popularity of vape products. KCP has been engaged in noted national programs to assist students and school systems in tackling the problem. Most recently, cancer control specialists have experienced success utilizing resources from the Tobacco Prevention toolkit from Standford Medicine. The Tobacco Prevention toolkit offers a variety of resources regarding nicotine and tobacco, including vaping. This program is designed for middle and high school students.
